Amazing Transformation

From a wasteland which was so overgrown with invasive vegetation that the River couldn’t even be seen, the 10-acre Park includes a mile of paths, 100 yards of granite seat walls (in addition to the 120 yards of granite seat walls in the Great Lawn and in front of 200 River's Edge Drive), 44 benches, contemporary lights, an irrigation system fed by well water, 8,000 plants, 1½ acres of new or restored wetlands, and the Tufts Boat House.  The Park is substantially complete.
