Criterion acquired the residential site from an affiliate of Preotle, Lane & Associates in April 2008 and began construction shortly thereafter. The first apartments are anticipated to be available in the Summer of 2009.
The Residences at RiversEdge, designed by CUBE 3 Studio, will include 222 contemporary, luxury rental apartments with the individual apartments featuring minimum 10-foot ceiling heights and up to 14 feet in some residences, oversized windows, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, internet connections and fireplaces in some apartments. The Residences will feature contemporary architecture and will include a swimming pool, a “teaching” kitchen, a formal dining room, a conference center, a fitness center and under-building parking. The apartments will be sited around extensively landscaped courtyards with the plan designed to maximize river and Park views.
